411: Imagine this, you and some of your friends decide to quarantine yourself from the rest of the world – oh wait – we are already doing that. In the early ’90s, a group of scientists and experts decided to isolate themselves in what was called Biosphere 2. The movie “Spaceship Earth” documents the eight visionaries who spent two years inside a replica of Earth’s ecosystem and the real-life obstacles and challenges that came along the way. The stranger than fiction film is showing in the Roxie’s virtual theatre, and half of all proceeds go to supporting the theatre. // $3.99 Ticket.

411 If you haven’t been to the Gregangelo Museum, put it on your shortlist of things to do when we can go out again, it’s one of those quintessential Bay Area moments that you have to experience. Each Saturday, they are broadcasting live from the museum, which is also Gregangelo Herrera’s home, the artist behind the museum’s installations. This weekend they are featuring married professional circus performers, Aaron and Anastasiia Crane, AKA “California Dreamers.” They will talk about their experiences on the road and give a sneak peek into the circus life. On Sunday, you can make yourself feel good by helping out a great cause and getting in those miles – join the Oakland Run Festival for a virtual 5k benefiting the Alameda County Food Bank. If 5k isn’t enough for you (show off!), there is also a 5k+Half. Runners can safely participate from the road, the trail, or the treadmill.
