The creative director of City Native Co, James Valerio, took the literal inspiration and reimagined the Breakfast Club as a more diverse cast of characters. Something that both reflects the city in its current form and the core behind the brand’s ethos. James was schooled all over the city from the Sunset to the Inner Mission and still resides in the Mission District today. When casting for these characters, he made sure to accurately portray the fictional Breakfast Club through personalities of their own.
