TorqueL is the latest from Playism Games, a publisher of international indie games. It’s a “physics-based, two-dimensional, side-scrolling” challenge game where players help a small man in a top hat, who’s trapped in a box, get through 50 stages of puzzles.
Players can help the man roll in his box and extend the different colored sides of his box in order to balance on and overcome obstacles. The solutions to the puzzle can get extremely complex, since the man in the box can’t jump over obstacles like pitfalls or roll his box uphill. Players will have to come up with new, innovative ways to get him to to the next puzzle.
You can test out the demo to get a brain-teasing taste of what TorqueL entails before its anticipated release next week.
